Tranquil by Norma Tomlinson, 2010

In this picture, which I think goes along with our photo project assignment, there several elements that work towards the emotion or feeling of being tranquil. The photo contains calm, cool colors,such as blue and white, with tiny hints of more excited colors like red, yellow, and pink. The use of shape is only to distinguish the water, the sky, and the black shapes that make up the  hills, the person on the rock, and other little features. Overall, the texture is very clean and flat and calm. The artists' intent, I believe, was fully extricated.
