This is a one among many mysterious tree carvings that have appeared around a market-town in North Yorkshire, England. According to Kerry McQueeney from this link, there have been no known locals that have witnessed this elusive artist make the work. This piece amazes me because of how detailed these carvings are, even with the color of the wood, and how this artist manages to keep his identity a secret because of how large these carvings are.
